1. Start The Bat and click "New" in the "Account" menu. 2. Type a name for this account. Click "Next". 3. In the "Your full name" text box type the name that you want others to see when you send a message. In the "E-mail address" text box type the e-mail address. Click "Next". 4. Select the "POP3" protocol. In the "Incoming mail server address" text box type the incoming server and in the "SMTP server address" text box type the outgoing server. Check the "My SMTP server requires authentication for sendmail mail" box. Click "Next". 5. In the "Username" text box type the POP3 username and in the "Password" text box type the POP3 password. Click "Next". 6. Select "Yes" and click "Finish". 7. In the "Account Properties" window select "Transport" from the menu on the left, then click "Authentication". 8. Check the "Perform SMTP Authentication" box, then check "Use specific settings". In the "User" text box type the SMTP username and in the "Password" text box type the SMTP password. Click "OK". 9. Click "OK" in the "Account Properties" window. You are now ready to send and receive your email.
