1. Start CuteFTP and click "FTP Site" in the "New" submenu of the "File" menu. 2. Enter a descriptive word or phrase in the "Label" text box (something to tell this FTP site apart from any others you may add). Type the FTP host in the "Host address" text box, the FTP username in the "Username" text box and the FTP password in the "Password" text box. Click "Connect". 3.CuteFTP will connect to the server and will show the contents of the root directory on the FTP server in the right panel. You should see a directory named after your website ( www.hostaggio.com in our example ). Double click this directory. 4. The right panel should now show three subdirectories : cgi-bin -> upload your cgi scripts here htdocs -> upload your web pages here logs -> download your server's log files from here Assuming that you want to upload web pages, double click the 'htdocs' directory. 5. In the left panel browse to the files on your computer you want to upload, select and right click them. Click "Upload". You can also drag and drop the files from the left panel to the right panel. 6. The bottom panel will show the upload progress. 7. After your files are publised you should see them in the right panel.
